We all love food and making new delicious foods even if we spend all day long. Coming home to a fully stocked fridge is the best satisfaction we can get. Though we love food, we hate the most dreaded task of going to the super store to fetch grocery. The grocery stores can be a nightmare for green and eco lovers due to the lines of plastics containers, polythene shopping bags and wasteful packaging that are not going to decompose.

Humans cuts trees and green plants for their food which have a negative impact on the planet and animals and we try to be mindful about our water and carbon footprints. But we never worry about the amount of waste that all of this packaging causes at grocery stores. Using cloth bags when shopping for grocery is a perfect step in reducing our carbon footprint and food shopping waste by reducing use of plastic bags which does not decompose easily.

You should do a little planning before you go out on your grocery shopping adventure. Write down the list of all the things that you need and if you know the quantities of each item that you will be buying take a note of that as well. If you planning to stock lentils or buy extra fresh veggies for a dinner night take that into consideration as well. Once you know how much grocery you will need to buy, you can now be smart and think of creative ways to stop plastic waste.
